The central government has permitted to open schools from class 9 to 12 from September 21 onwards. Under Unlock-4, SOP has been released. Students wishing to attend school must obtain written permission from their parents. There should be at least 6 feet of a second between students. Apart from this, face cover/mask has been made mandatory. The schools which have a quarantine centre will be fully sanitized before opening. There will be no biometric attendance at the moment. Even inside the school, hands will have to be washed or sanitized in a short period. Spitting here and there is prohibited in the premises.
From September 21, children who want to go to school must take written permission from the parents. Currently, biometric attendance will not be allowed. Students or staff will not be able to go to schools which are in the Containment Zone.
- There will be a thermal screening of every student and staff at the school gate. At the same time, their hands will also be sanitized. Even inside the campus, hands will have to be washed or sanitized in a short period.
- At school, students will not be able to share a pen, pencil, notebook or any other items with other students. Assembly, sports or other events are also not allowed.
There will be pulse oximeter in every building.
All schools in Delhi will remain closed till September 30 due to Coronavirus infection. On Friday, the Delhi government issued an order in this regard. According to this, until September 21, the school cannot call students under any circumstances, but after September 21, students from 9th to 12th class can go to school if they want.
According to the circular of the Delhi government, all schools will remain closed for students till September 30. However, during this period, online and distance education will continue. It has been told in the circular that the school cannot invite students till 20 September for any kind of activities. However, from September 21, students from 9th and 12th grade outside the Containment Zone can go to school.
