In view of the upcoming budget session of Parliament, on January 30, there will be an all-party meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which the government will apprise all the parties related to the session. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi gave this information on Wednesday. He told that this meeting will be done through digital medium and in this connection, information has been given to the leaders of the houses of all the parties. The budget session will start on January 29. During the session, the proceedings of Rajya Sabha will be from 9 am to 2 pm, while the proceedings of Lok Sabha will be from 4 to 8 pm.
The session will run from 29 January 2021 to 15 February 2021 in the first phase and from 8 March 2021 to 8 April 2021 in the second phase. And Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said on Tuesday that all MPs will be requested to conduct a Kovid-19 inquiry before the budget session of Parliament and arrangements will be made for this in the Parliament complex from January 27.
Addressing the meeting, Birla said that all the precautionary rules like social distance and sanitization will be followed during the session starting from 29 January. The Lok Sabha Speaker held a meeting with higher officials on Tuesday in which the budget session was discussed. The budget session is going to start on 29 January. In this session, the question hour of one hour is being started again.
The question hour was cancelled in the September session. All necessary security arrangements will be made during the budget session in view of the Corona epidemic. The budget session of Parliament will be in two phases. The first phase will run from 29 January to 15 February and the second phase from 8 March to 8 April.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla held a meeting on Tuesday regarding the arrangements for the budget session. He told the press after the meeting that the farmer movement is not part of the session proceedings. The bill has been passed from here.

This meeting was held to discuss arrangements related to the upcoming budget session.
During the meeting, Birla was told that all COVID related standard operating procedures (SoPs) developed during the September 2020 monsoon session amid global pandemic would continue. Om Birla was also informed that RT-PCR tests for all members will be done on 27 and 28 January in the Parliament House Complex (PHC). Apart from PHC, tests will also be conducted at other places including North Avenue, South Avenue, BD Marg etc. Emergency wards will be made available to members at RML Hospital for immediate COVID therapy.
