India need to develop Thought Leadership from grassroots level. Not only students, but even the Academicians needs to reboot their knowledge, leadership and technical skills in the post Covid19 period, said Mr. Onkareshwar Pandey, veteran journalist and Chairman of the Observer Global Media Group, New Delhi while addressing a Symposium organised by #RKG Institute of Technology, #Ghaziabad, #UP as the Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker on Saturday 8th of April 2023.
Talking about the AI, ML Robotics and ChatGPT, Mr Pandey said, ” The ChatGpt is a new Challenge for Technically Challenged, but this is an Opportunity for those who are Open to Learn. Because man behind the machine always matters. But yes, we must know how to use and rein the tension horses of these technologies.
Today the world is facing unprecedented challenges on social, economical and environmental fronts. The #Pandemic is still not over and the #Infodemic is looming large, Mr Pandey said.
Mr. Pandey said that the new technological developments in IR4 are posing new challenges and providing us with myriad new opportunities for human advancement. We cannot predict the future as it is uncertain, but we need to be ready and open to adopt and rein it. As rightly envisioned by OECD, we must see –
- What knowledge, skills, attitudes and values will today’s students need to thrive and shape their world?
- How can instructional systems develop these knowledge, skills, attitudes and values effectively?
“This is the time when the fear of Covid is again knocking the doors, the educational institutions in India are trying to Reboot Education in their institutions. But the most difficult challenge today is that even after almost two years of Covid, still many students in the various educational campuses are not joining back for studying.” This was revealed by Dr Rajeev K Gupta, Regional Director, #highereducation, #Meerut Region in the UP Govt. Dr. Gupta said this while addressing a Symposium as the Chief Guest.
In his opening remarks Mr Akshat Goel, Vice Chairman, RKG Group encouraged the faculties to learn more and more and update themselves on regular basis.
