Corona Virus: India cancelled the tourist visa till 15 April.

There have been several cases of coronavirus in India during the last week. In such a situation, the Government of India has rejected all tourist visas till 15 April. Total of 67 people in India is currently infected with the coronavirus. These include a group of tourists from Italy.

The decision has been taken after a meeting of a group of ministers chaired by Health Minister Harsh Vardhan late Wednesday evening. Accordingly, except for diplomats, officials, people associated with the United Nations or International Organization, people on employment and project visas, all visas have been cancelled.

Infections in other countries have been growing by leaps and bounds,” said WHO Director-General Doctor Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. “Its cases may increase in the coming days and weeks. Coronavirus deaths and the number of affected countries are increasing rapidly,” he said.

Tedross said that many countries have managed to stop the infection. He also said that big countries around the world are not taking enough steps to stop it. Before he declared coronavirus as an epidemic, he said that we rang alarm bells.

He said that there have been fewer cases of infection in China and South Korea. Tedross also said that there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in 81 countries of the world. While there are less than 10 cases in 57 countries.
