Written By India Business Story

MP Gautam Gambhir today tweeted an improvised cover of Geeta Dutt’s 1954 super hit song “Babuji Dheere Chalna” in a taunt at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as the Aam Aadmi Party chief started a plan to get free of potholes from Delhi’s trails.

Mr Kejriwal said his government’s Public Works Department is accountable for the maintenance of a few streets in the national capital, but these ways see the most movement.

Delhi has few roads under Delhi government (PWD), but millions of transportations run on them every day. To obliterate any trouble to the public on the roads due to tempest, these operations are being taken out. For the first time roads are being investigated on such a large range,” Mr Kejriwal tweeted.

An hour succeeding, Mr Gambhir jabbed at the Chief Minister with a tweet that symbolised the roads in Delhi under the PWD was not in a great state. ”

Please go slow. There are many potholes. We understand the entities of Delhi. But to keep yourself happy it’s a good spirit,” the BJP MP from East Delhi, which see some of the worst traffic troubles in the city, tweeted in Hindi.

Gautam Gambhir Tweeted

  • Mr Kejriwal said 50 MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party will examine 20-25 km of roads managed by the PWD. Engineers will follow them. “The MLAs will catch photos of potholes and upload their areas and articles on an app,” Mr Kejriwal told.
  • The progress to improve roads appears as Delhi heads for election next year. Mr Kejriwal’s party has been highlighting the task done by his power, especially in developing state-run schools and healthcare.
