The central government had announced to run the Kisan Special Parcel Train with the aim of enabling the farmers to get a fair price for their crops and to not increase the prices of fruits and vegetables artificially. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced to run this train from Parliament while presenting the General Budget 2020-21.
Will leave tomorrow at 11 am
The country’s first Kisan Special Parcel train will depart from Divlali to Danapur at 11 am on July 7. Union Railway and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Rural Development and Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will flag off this train through video conferencing.
Will go on taking these agricultural products
The Bhusaval division of the Central Railway is primarily known for agricultural products. Nashik and its surrounding region of Maharashtra are mainly known for the production of many perishable products including fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers. These products are mainly transported in areas like Patna, Allahabad, Katni and Satna. With this weekly running train, it is expected that the local farmers will get great benefit.
Kisan Special Parcel Train will stop at these stations – This train will also stop at Nashik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Katni, Manikpur, Prayagraj, Chhewki, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar and Buxar.
