Major Truck Maker Company announces more non-working days

As auto slowdown catching every company of India. Its has produced a jumble for major vehicles companies. Now reports are coming that Hinduja Group-owned Ashok Leyland on Monday declared the firm would adopt non-working days in five plants this month among falling demand for its commodities.
1. The firm announced its Pantnagar plant located in Uttarakhand would have the maximum 18 non-working days this month followed by Ennore plant (16 non-working days), Alwar and Bhandara (10 days each), Hosur 1, 2 and CPPS plant (5 days).
2. The Chennai-based firm, which recorded a 50 per cent slump in total national sales at 8,296 units for August. The Hinduja Group flagship firm had posted domestic sales of 16,628 units in the year-ago month. But if commodities are factored in, combined sales have plunged 47 per cent to 9,231 units a closing month, the group said in a statement.
