Martyr’s Day 2020: Bhagat Singh’s inspirational quotes

March 23 is marked as Shaheed Diwas or Martyrs’ Day to remember the day when three courageous freedom soldiers were hanged by the British. Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar were inspirational youngsters, and their sacrifice remained etched in the Indian duty. Amongst them, Bhagat Singh reached out for his bravery, precision of thought and exceptional nationality. On this day, we look back at Bhagat’s thoughts on change, freedom, love and identity.

Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru’s sacrifice got on Shaheed Diwas. All the three revolutionists were jailed on murder charges which gained national impulse. They were sentenced to death in the Lahore conspiracy case and were hanged to death on March 23, 1931, at 7.30 pm in the Lahore jail.

How is Bhagat Singh?

Bhagat Singh was born in Punjab, India (now Pakistan), on September 27, 1907, to a Sikh family deeply involved in political activities. He quit school at thirteen to devote his life to Indian independence. He became involved in several violent demonstrations of political defiance and was arrested several times.
