Night Curfew Over in India

The Central Government has released the guidelines for Unlock-3. In the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, permission has been given to open the gym from August 5. In addition, the government has also removed the night curfew. Restrictions on metro, rail and theatres will continue.

The government has said that Independence Day programs will be done with social distancing. Also, other health protocols have to be followed, such as wearing masks. The Ministry of Home Affairs said that after extensive discussion with states and union territories, it has been decided that schools, colleges and coaching institutes will remain closed till August 31.

The government said that the new guidelines are for outside the Containment Zone. Unlock-3 will be applicable from 1 August. The Ministry of Home Affairs said that the new guidelines issued today are based on the feedback received from states and union territories. Extensive discussions have been held with the concerned ministries and departments.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has advised people above 65 years of age, people suffering from diseases, pregnant women and children below 10 years to stay at home. Wearing masks in public places will be mandatory as before. More than 50 people will not be allowed at the wedding ceremony. Prohibition will be continued for the funeral involving more than 20 people.
