Rain Is Becoming a Headache for some Indian States

Rain creating a massive problem in Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Assam, Odisha and eastern part of India. As per the reports, 14 people have lost their lives in Kerala individually and almost 10,000 people have
been sent to the safe areas.IMD has also issued Red alert in 9 Keraladistricts and heavy rainfalls have done massive destruction in Maharashtra, Karnataka due to heavy rains almost 27 people have drowned in Maharashtra and Karnataka almost 40,000 people have been displaced and nine people have drowned.States like Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal is also facing
massive destruction due to rain. Besides this, the government of Kerala has a red alert in the state due to heavy rains. International Airport of Kerala has been shut down due to the waterlogging in runways and schools in the state has been called off. The areas like Wayanad, Kozhikode and Idukki are the most affected. Rahul Gandhi spoke to the Prime Minister to provide all the possible assistance for the people severely affected by the floods and landslides in the state, especially in Wayanad.Rescue operations are done by the Army and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) last year also state has witnessed heavy rainfall in which 417 people lost lives and several went missing.
