Sensex has fallen 3,594 points to the day’s low of 26,321.88 on March 23, 2020. This is also the new 52-week low for the 30-share gauge. Nifty50 on a similar note hit a new one year low of 7,832.55, falling 912 points during the time.
Both the barometers have dried out in recent sittings by opening at multiple gaps down and traded back at early 2017 year levels. In one month’s period, Sensex and Nifty have declined 35% each.
These shares were beaten by 20 per cent
Selling of all 30 stocks of BSE Sensex was seen and shares of Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance were down by about 20%.
The indices of all sectors are visible in red mark and the decline is being led by banks, realty and finance sectors. Shares of Reliance Industries, the country’s highest company, have also declined by about 12 per cent and TCS by around 6 per cent.
