Chinese soldiers are trying to gain control of both these peaks at any cost.

Now a press release has been issued by the Indian Army on the entire incident. The army says that India is committed to reducing tension on the LAC. China is doing provocative activities to move forward.
On the allegations being made by Beijing, the Indian Army said that at no stage did the Indian Army cross the LAC and did not use any aggression, including firing. The Chinese Army People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is violating agreements between military and diplomatic negotiations and is carrying out aggressive manoeuvres.
