US President Donald Trump on Saturday declared confinements on travel from Iran and warned fellow citizens not to travel to certain areas of South Korea and Italy.
The decision came as the first death from coronavirus was listed in the US from the Washington state.
“Unfortunately, one person passed away overnight. She was a wonderful woman, a medically high-risk patient in her late 50s,” Donald Trump told reporters at the White House.
“Further cases in the United States are likely, but healthy people should be able to fully realise. If you are well, you will probably go through a method and you will be fine,” he said and requested people not to panic.
As many as 15 people have rescued from the virus so far in the US. There is no incentive to panic at all. Our nation is prepared for any situation,” the president said at his second press discussion in the White House announcement room on his return from India on Wednesday.
