BJP working president Jagat Prakash Nadda has received over as party new chief, a responsibility he experienced with Home Minister Amit Shah for almost a year. Top leaders from over the nation met this morning at the BJP office, where his name was formally intended for a new president.
Mr Nadda, the number three of classes in the ruling party, has been selected unanimously since he is the only applicant. Later in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are presumed to be at the BJP office for Mr Nadda’s formal rise.
The political career of the Nadda
He was MLA in Himachal Pradesh for three times before he moved to the central administration as a cabinet minister from 1998 to 2003.
In June 2019, Mr Nadda’s political stock rose as he was elected as the working chairman of the BJP. Amit Shah continued BJP chief.
