Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman earmarked Rs 99, 300 crores for the education area along with Rs 3,000 crore for skill improvement in FY21. Giving her second budget under the Modi 2.0 government, FM Sitharaman stated that the government would also include foreign direct investment (FDI) in the sector.
She continued that further measures will be taken to secure higher class education to learners. She also stated that by 2030, India will have the largest working-age people in the world.
She also announced that the government’s ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ operations have produced overwhelming results continuing that the girls’ gross students ratio is now more eminent than boys at all levels.
